Class Experience
This class is designed for students who want to learn to sing. No previous experience is needed! Students will be taught to recognize note names use musical terminology. Simple musical concepts will be introduced. Students should expect to sing and engage in listening activities throughout the entire class. The focus of this class is not to learn complete songs, but to lay the foundation of proper vocal technique. The class is social and structured based on a voice lesson. Join any time!...

- Students will learn to properly care for their voices. The goal of this class is to give students the knowledge and confidence to sing!
I minored in vocal music and have been teaching voice lessons since I was in high school. I have taught children's choirs and private voice lessons. Several years ago I recorded a cd, and I sing at my church on a weekly basis. I also have experience teaching English as a second language (ESL). I would be happy to accommodate students who are learning English.
Students should bring water to class. Please refrain from chewing gum or eating during class.
