Groovy Kids Club: Zumba, Dancehall, & Hip Hop Workout
Class experience
In this ongoing class, students will learn basic Zumba, hip-hop, and dancehall moves. Our learning goals will be focused on body awareness, body part isolation, and coordination. My teaching style is fun, inclusive, and high-energy. We will always start class with a warmup and stretching sequence. I am a 600 hr Registered Yoga Teacher with certification in Yoga for Children & Teens. I have taught dance professionally at the NYC Ballet Tech Academy and have been a performer since I was young.
Students are asked to wear clothing comfortable to move in. For example shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirts, etc. Please no skirts, dresses, or oversized clothing. No shoes or socks are required. Please have water handy for breaks.
