Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Join along as we learn all about life in Ancient Greece.  Each day, we will explore a different topic. Storytelling, pictures, videos, games, and activities will be used to transport you back in time to this ancient world!

Course Outline:

Day One:  The  Beastly Spartans
-Learn about how this city-state became the best warriors in all of Ancient Greece

Day Two:  The Trailblazing Athenians
-Explore early democracy, the agora, and education in this ancient city-state

Day Three: Great and Groovy Gods and Goddesses
-Learn about the gods and goddesses that ruled Greek life

Day Four:  Olympic Challenges
-Come along as the Greeks honor the god, Zeus, by competing

Day Five:  Great Greeks
-Explore the Greco-Persian Wars and the warriors that fought in these great wars

Other Details

Parental Guidance
This class will feature talks of battles and deaths during various wars. We will also discuss punishments that include death that the Ancient Greeks used. We will use outside resources that do not need a login or account. The student will be given a link during class to use the resource. These resources are Nearpod, Kahoot, and Gimkit.
