The four fairy tales we will read and compare are Rapunzel (Tangled), Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. We will do one per week in the order listed above. It is important for the students to have seen the movies before class since there will not be time in class to watch them. The student must also be able to read and follow along. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and I am endorsed in middle school language arts. I have done a similar project in a classroom setting, and the students loved it. It allows them to incorporate movies they like, with reading and learning. For the artistic ones, the storyboards are a fun drawing activity.
