Greetings and Conversation in Hindi - Beginner Language Learning (Ages 5-7)

In this class, students will be introduced to basic Hindi sentences that are commonly used as greetings and in conversation. We will discuss how certain sounds are produced in Hindi that differ from English. We will also talk about Hindi sentence structure. I will use my experience as an elementary school teacher and a Linguist to encourage language learning through explicit instruction, real-world application, and visual examples. Hindi is a very structured and fun language and this class will be a great basis for students to begin acquiring a new skill! Participation in class is essential to gaining knowledge. I hope that students will take what they learn and use it in their daily lives!
