Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about Hercules, Eurystheus, Copreus, Diomedes, his Mares (Podargos, Lampon, Xanthos, and Deinos), Abderus, Hera, Zeus, and Alexander the Great.  Students will be encouraged to speak, ask questions, and be questioned themselves with a focus on comprehension skills and critical thinking.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
It should be noted that this particular tale is quite gruesome, as it contains horses that eat the flesh of any human unfortunate to cross their path.  In the tale the stables are described as being splattered with the blood of their victims.  The story includes several instances where the horses eat both companions and enemies of Hercules.
