In this final labor of Hercules, learners will hear how the mightiest of heroes is sent directly to the Underworld and tasked with bringing back Hades' favorite pet, the ferocious three headed dog Cerberus.

When a student takes this class they can expect a fun and interactive journey through the story of how Hercules descended into the Underworld and found himself in a wrestling match with the guardian of the gates of Hades' realm, Cerberus. Class will first begin with a short meet-and-greet. Once acquainted, we will delve into a dramatic telling of some of Hercules' exploits. Students will learn about Hercules, Eurystheus, Copreus, Theseus, Pirithous, Persephone, Hades, and Cerberus. Students will be encouraged to speak, ask questions, and be questioned themselves with a focus on comprehension skills and critical thinking.
