Class Experience

Before each class, I will post a PDF of the myth. This is an ongoing course, so learners are welcome to join at any point in the schedule.

In class, I will read the myth to the learners, stopping periodically to check for understanding. After reading, we will spend the remaining time in class discussing the myth's protagonist/antagonist, plot development, conflict, and theme. Participating in this class will help learners improve their reading comprehension, discussion skills, and understanding of literary elements.

The schedule for this class is as follows:

April 27: "Prometheus"
May 4: "Pandora"
May 11: "Psyche and Eros"
May 18: "Demeter" and "Echo and Narcissus"
May 25: "Arachne and Athena" and "Midas"

Note: This class ends after May 25.
