In this 40 minute class, the student will explore various Greek Gods and read 2 myths while engaging in an exciting collaborative discussion about the themes, plot, character traits, and more.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn about the Greek Gods and Goddess through reading the greek myth "Persephone" as a class and independently reading the myth "Oh Eris". They will then engage in a collaborative conversation where they answer comprehension questions and discuss the various themes of the stories through class discussions and sharing their responses orally. They will analyze the characters and the plot of the myths to deepen their comprehension skills and enhance their knowledge...
Students will improve their understanding of Greek Gods and Goddesses Students will understand the central message and theme of a fictional story.
Students will be provided with a conversation starter handout to help aid the discussion in class.
