This course is fully conversational for learners who know basic Greek and greetings . It is the forth part of Greek and we will cover various topics: Week 1: Review Vocabulary House / Objects of the house / members of the family / Ordering in restaurant /Booking a hotel room The learners will review basic conversation to describe their house and members of our family .They will draw their house and present their family tree giving more information about their relatives .In pairs learners will practise ordering food in a restaurant and booking a hotel room. Week 2: ' What's it like ?' Description objects and the weather - Learners will learn how to describe objects around them using appropriate genders before nouns . Practising different genders in nouns with the combinations of articles will be through flashcards and games in class Week 3: Learn months / seasons and describe the weather using simple sentences - We will learn key words and make a calendar with seasons describing our hobbies in each season making sentences . Week 4 &5:'Where is it ?' Learners will describe places , objects using prepositions and the right genders .Through guess -my -place game they will present their description using key vocabulary and having their classmates guess the place. Week 6:' How do I get there ?'Asking and giving directions . We will learn to ask and give directions in pairs and role- playing dialogues like customer- shop assistant/ tourist - local Week 7: Review all the material and in groups take turns simulating dialogues Learners must know basic Greek in order to attend this course .False beginners cannot attend this course because it will seem really difficult for them and it does not deal with learning the alphabet .
