Pacman loves to eat as much as he can! Students will be introduced to the concepts of greater than, less than, and equal to, by helping Pacman eat the bigger number. To start the class, students will answer identify if numbers are bigger or smaller than the other number, to decide which number Pacman should eat. Once the students understand the concept of numbers being bigger and smaller than other numbers, we will begin introducing the vocabulary of 'greater than', 'less than', and 'equal to'. Multiple opportunities will be provided for each student to participate verbally, both as a group and individually, to practice new skills and demonstrate comprehension. Prior Knowledge: Children should be able to identify all numbers by looking at the symbol (ex. 14) independently, up to 99. Please note: All transfers to another time must be done at least 24 hours before. Please ensure that the class time(s) works with your schedule.

I'm Meghan McGregor, the founder, program director, and one of the dedicated teachers at World Montessori Academy. Our academy is a place where education is fueled by passion and expertise. Each of our Montessori classes is taught by certified, trained AMS, AMI or MACTE Montessori educators who bring up to 20 years of experience and a deep love for teaching. We believe that education is more than just imparting knowledge—it's about nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
Our extra-curricular classes are no different. Whether it's art, music, science, or another subject, these sessions are led by educators who are truly passionate about their fields. This passion translates into engaging, dynamic classes that captivate and inspire our students.
At World Montessori Academy, we emphasize interactive, hands-on learning experiences. We know that not everyone has access to Montessori materials at home, and that's perfectly fine! We provide printable versions of all the materials used in our classes, ensuring that every student can fully participate and benefit from our programs.
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to support your child's educational journey and can't wait to see them thrive in our classes. If you have any questions or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist you every step of the way.
