Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the history of 18 different Great Lakes shipwrecks over our five live class meetings.
No high risk topics will be discussed
No homework will be required for the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment will be administered, but weekly content will be reviewed on a regular basis.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Many of the shipwrecks we will discuss in class did involve a loss of life. The human losses will not be focused on, and it will be presented in a historically contextualized format.
