This five week course will look at the famous (and not so famous) shipwrecks of each of the Great Lakes.

US Grade 3 - 6
This class will explore the shipwrecks of the Great Lakes. Each week will focus on a different Great Lake and some of the famous (and not so famous) shipwrecks that occurred in each lake.

...Students will learn the history of 18 different Great Lakes shipwrecks over our five live class meetings.

No formal assessment will be administered, but weekly content will be reviewed on a regular basis.Grades Offered
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Many of the shipwrecks we will discuss in class did involve a loss of life. The human losses will not be focused on, and it will be presented in a historically contextualized format.
