Students are encouraged to take a basic sculpting class prior to...
This class is taught in English.
Your choice of sculpting material (I will be using Polymer Bake Clay, Sculpey III brand) in a variety of colors - check the week’s theme Note: polymer clay in “Translucent” makes great wings and marbled effects! Mica Powders are great for effects too! Glass beads make great eyes! I use 4.0 size or 6mm Basic sculpting tools, rolling pin You may use wire or pins if you would like, but we will not be creating a skeleton together. Any Glass or Metal or Wood findings that you may want to add to your sculpts. Plastic CANNOT be baked! Polymer Clay needs to be baked in an oven and requires parental guidance. *I made a list of the supplies I use during class: sculpting tools https://amzn.to/45kJsbB armature wire set https://amzn.to/3P7TpDC basic Mica powder set https://amzn.to/3YMIp1v Color Shift Mica powder set https://amzn.to/45kKfJB Glass pearl beads for Eyes (4mm) https://amzn.to/3OMZovV Glass crystal beads for Eyes (4mm) https://amzn.to/3YOqaZM Glass Dragon Eyes (6mm) https://amzn.to/3QLjWrz Gloss Glaze https://amzn.to/44lSuna Translucent Polymer clay https://amzn.to/3suBBta Non-stick acrylic rolling pin set https://amzn.to/3QLkC05

*Please note that this class occasionally runs 5 or 10 minutes late, as I allow students to converse and show each other projects they wish to share afterwards. Students are free to leave at ending time or stay with me in class. This outlet is beneficial to those who enjoy the social aspect. *Polymer Clay needs to be baked in an oven and requires parental guidance. *If time allows, we will have the opportunity to play a game of Gartic Phone, Time To Climb, Kahoot, or Zoom Draw.
