Class Experience
In this 30-minute one-on-one class, your learner will have the opportunity to discuss and write about 3-5 things that they are thankful for. We will focus on looking for the good things in life! We will discuss the importance of looking for and focusing on the positive people, things, and situations in life. Oftentimes, we focus on the larger things, such as a special family member, doing great on a test, and accomplishing a big goal. Bur, we will also talk about the little things, such as giggling with a friend over a silly joke, wearing their most comfortable hoodie all day, and watching a flock of birds soar over the yard. The writing expectations will vary according to the learner. The youngest learners may simply draw a picture of their list. Some learners may benefit from listening their 3-5 things, and then drawing a picture for each. Others might choose to write a full paragraph.
