Now is the time to be grateful! This class will lead learners to find things to be grateful for while having fun. After introductions we'll discuss what it means to be grateful while we create a grateful journal. While are journals are drying we'll go on our scavenger hunt! I'll give directions such as "Find something that makes you proud." or "Find something that makes you smile." and they have 1 minute to bring something back to show. We will have time to share what we found before looking...
Journal of some sort- spiral notebook, note pad, whatever your child would like to use! (we will be gluing and writing on the cover) cut out magazine pictures pictures of family or friends stickers whatever they may want to decorate the cover with pen or pencil markers (permanent would be best to write on the cover) glue scissors the house or room to search for things
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need scissors when creating their grateful journal.
