This is a flexible schedule version of the original live class. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 8 weeks learners will be guided to think of all the things in their lives that they are thankful for. Gratitude is a quick and easy method of uplifting your learner’s mood. When gratitude becomes a weekly or daily habit, it can often result in a more positive mindset and attitude. Each week will involve a different topic encouraging learners to use their imagination to come up with new things that they are grateful for and share with their classmates what makes them happy. Homework will be a combination of written and video/audio assignments. And each week will include either an interactive poll or scavenger hunt. I will always reply to your submissions with feedback and encouragement. Each week you will be asked to submit a list of what you are grateful for. You will also be asked to submit a video or audio of yourself answering the ‘Question of the Week’ on the classroom page. And finally, each week I ask that you watch/listen to your classmates’ submissions and comment something positive and encouraging for them. Week Topics: Week 1: Nature & Animals Week 2: Friends & Family Week 3: Things & Stuff Week 4: My Favourite Activities Week 5: A Happy Memory Week 6: Looking Forward To Week 7: A Kind Gesture Week 8: My Accomplishments

Hello and welcome to my profile! I am a Nutritionist and Mental Wellness Coach. I enjoy sharing Holistic Ways of Improving our Mood.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree and I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. I am certified in Mindfulness, Meditation & Neuroscience as well as Conscious Care & Support.
Over the years, I have taught art, physical education, as well as promoted self-esteem and confidence. More recently, I have been teaching English as a second language, and I had the privilege of homeschooling my 9 year old Step-Son this year. However, my main passion is teaching guided Meditations, Nutrition and Wellness courses to adults and children.
I am passionate about teaching kids the importance of eating healthy foods to support their mental well-being and overall health. I enjoy sharing simple lifestyle habits that can be used to reduce anxiety and help your child deal with stress. I believe that these are tools that can be carried with them into adulthood.
As a teacher, I love to ask questions and encourage students to share their thoughts. Providing a warm and inviting learning environment is very important in order to nurture Positive Self-Image and overall Mental Wellness.
