In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to find the slope of a line when given a graph, when given two points, and when given a linear equation. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visual models to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students may benefit from having graph paper available to them during this class, but it is not a requirement.
