In this interactive ongoing class, learners will have the opportunity to explore, create, and receive teacher support and coaching for a variety of design options in the Canva graphic design program. Canva has become an essential program for designing professional-looking presentations, posters, logos, greeting cards, short videos, infographics, and more! This club will build learner proficiency in graphic design skills including an effective arrangement of text, images, lines, and shapes; and choosing fonts, colors, photos, and clip art that suit the style and purpose of a design. During each class session, learners will have the opportunity to work on a Canva task/project. (Some of these activities can be completed in one class session, while others might require time over a few weeks.) These projects/tasks will guide learners through exploring important features of the Canva program in context, and allow them to showcase their personal interests.
