Take charge of your design skills and create! Learn how to create a poster. Your creativity is endless when you understand how to create using Canva. Register now for this class that will show you step-by-step how to bring your ideas to life! In this one-time class, you will learn to create a poster using digital backgrounds, images, elements, fonts, colors, and frames. This beginner Canva tutorial will teach you to become more confident using Canva and all the amazing available features. In addition, you will leave the class with a solid understanding of using Canva to create a poster that you can hang in your room, in the hall, or even if you are in charge of locker posters at school. The instructor will guide learners through the process to eliminate any frustrations. The instructor will screen share to guide learners through the creation. PLEASE NOTE: Learners will need to access the Canva site before class begins or know how to log in to their account. Parents will need to help their learners sign up for a Canva account. The "Free Version" is needed for this class. No previous experience is necessary. However, a solid understanding of how to use the computer is needed. Canva can be used on an iPad but it is much easier for learners to use on a computer. I will be demonstrating using a computer. It will be easier for learners to follow along with a computer.

* Parents can sign their learners up for a free account at www.canva.com
* There is a free version and a paid version.
* I will be using the paid version to teach the class.
