Through a series of hands-on projects, you will learn how to manipulate images, design captivating graphics, and master the art of visual communication. Topics covered include image editing, retouching, typography, color theory, composition, and creating impactful visual elements.
By the end of this course, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to create eye-catching designs for various mediums, including print, web, and social media. Join us to unleash your creativity and bring your graphic design ideas to life with the power of Photoshop.
Day 1: Refresh our Photoshop knowledge.
Day 2: Learn rhythm, repetition, and balance within a composition, and create an abstract image.
Day 3: From fonts to typography, learn how type works. We'll learn to mix different fonts.
Day 4: Create a poster using images and interesting fonts.
Day 5: Put your idea on paper, but design it on the computer.
Day 6: Color mixing and complementary colors. We are designing using multiple colors and graphics.
Day 7: Editing photographs and creating a collage.
Day 8: Free to Create an image using the skills learned.
Similar to my other classes, I will adapt as best as possible to suit the needs of the student. A fun learning environment is necessary. I understand students might not get the best experience sitting in front of the computer. Within the three weeks, I rotate verbal lessons with photographic practice to give students a well-rounded experience.

From 2013-2020, I had the privilege of teaching photography at the Palm Beach Photography Centre.
