Graphic Design Camp | Wonderful Winter Comprehensive! | Canva!

In this 3 day winter snow animal graphic design camp, we will use Canva to design a variety of graphic posters that will include a Polar Bear, Reindeer, Arctic Wolf, Narwhal, Penguin, and Arctic Fox.  

Learners will learn to use basic Canva features including how to insert and format text, how to insert elements like pictures and graphics, and how to insert a background. Students who are experienced in Canva will be able to explore creating designs at a more advanced level.  This class is meant to meet students where they are.

In this class, learners will be able to design alongside the instructor to create their own graphic design.  The teacher will screen share a design that she is creating as learners use their creativity to create their own design.  

Day 1 - Polar Bear and Reindeer
Day 2 - Arctic Wolf and Narwhal
Day 3 - Penguin and Arctic Fox

Parents will need to sign learners up for a free Canva account before class.  Learners will need to be logged into their Canva account prior to the start of class.  e  (The learners can fully participate in the class with the free account.  The teacher will demonstrate some of the things that can be accomplished with premium features).

Learners will need basic computer skills including an understanding of drag and drop and how to conduct this task on their device.  They will also need to know how to navigate multiple windows if they are using Canva on the same device that they are logged into the classroom.
