I have been a freelance graphic designer for the past seven years, and I have an undergraduate degree in art with a concentration in graphic design.
Homework Offered
The only homework will be to complete anything not done by the end of class such as brainstorming or completing designs.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
We will be reviewing everyone's final product, but this is not graded as correct or incorrect. It will be in class.Grades Offered
I am happy to offer a certificate for those that complete the class.
Learners will need anything they would like to use for their designs such as paper and pen for sketching and quick iteration, a digital tablet, and/or whatever program they would like to use for their design making (Illustrator, Canva, Procreate, etc.)
I will be screen sharing examples of logos and advertisements based on what students offer as their favorites, but I will make sure they are screened for appropriateness. Students may need an account for certain design software depending on what students would like to use.
We will be referring to logos and advertisements from different businesses and will be watching some YouTube video tutorials.
