The middlegame is the portion of the game in between the opening and the endgame, though there is no clear line between the opening and middlegame, and between the middlegame and endgame. The middle game begins when both players have completed the development of all or most of their pieces and the king has been brought to relative safety. It takes about 10 moves from the start for a middlegame to occur. In the Middlegame Course #1 the kids will learn the most common and important middlegame positions such as - Open file - Queen side pawn majority - Central pawn majority - A pawn storm - Doubled pawns In the Middlegame Course #2 the kids will learn the most common and important middlegame positions such as - Playing against a powerful pawn center - Blockade - Isolated pawns - Backward pawns - Hanging pawns It will be useful and interesting for all levels, however chess players should know how to play chess.
