Class Experience
This is an excellent class for building and reinforcing understanding of core grammatical concepts in preparation for middle and high school. We will use the grammar workbook by Evan-Moor titled Grammar and Punctuation, Grade 6. I have used this book in my work teaching English grammar for the last year or so, and I love it. Students will gain: Understanding of core concepts of grammar
No homework unless a student would like to work ahead. We will do all work together during class.
Students will need a new copy of the workbook Grammar and Punctuation Grade 6, Evan-Moor. I will send each student registered for the class a link to the correct book. Copies must be new because this is a workbook in which we will be writing extensively.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
