Grammar With Pets - Expanded Noun Phrases - Creative Writing Skills 7-11 Years

Hi, and welcome to Grammar with Pets - Expanded Noun Phrases

This course looks at all the grammatical elements you need to level up your writing using expanded noun phrases. 

We will look at determiners, adjectives, nouns and prepositions through a fun interactive slide presentation using pet pictures. Yes! Even grammar can be fun when there's cute pets to write about. 

There's lots for me to tell and lots of chances to join in too. I use a simple colour-code system to help children identify elements of text with step-by-step introductions to new grammar. Each element can be explored by the children through their questioning, having a go, or just listening in. By the end, they will be creating their own expanded noun phrases and completing the optional homework worksheet I've prepared and made available in the classroom.

This course is perfect for children who are ready to think about improving their creative writing but don't worry if you haven't heard about any of the grammar terminology I will be using - that will all be explained!
