In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to a story about a horse who wants to build a flying machine. A beaver comes along and begins to ask all sorts of questions about the machine. WHAT is it? WHO built it? WHEN will it fly? During the story, we will notice all the question words being used. Then we will play an interactive question words game, where the students get to control the screen with their computer mouse or touch pad. Finally, we will make a cool question words craft. ...
Students will improve their knowledge of using question words. They will be able to write and ask questions appropriately on their craft.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need the two attached printables for the Question Words Pizza craft. They will also need scissors, glue or tape, and a pencil. Crayons and markers are optional.
Parental guidance is needed when the students use scissors.
