Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to a story about a boy named Kevin Crabtree. He starts to write a story and suddenly, the sentence he makes becomes a no-good, rotten, run-on sentence! It runs right out of his house! Can anybody catch it? After the story, we will play an interactive run-on sentence game, where the students get to control the screen using a computer mouse or touch pad. Then we will make our craft. The students will use the attached printable of a Run-On...
Students will improve their understanding of run-on sentences. They will also be able to listen to a story and notice how the enormous run-on sentence is edited to make more sense. Finally, students will be able to read and edit sentences on the attached printable.
