Let's learn about run-on sentences by reading a fun book called "The No-Good, Rotten, Run-On Sentence" by Liza Charlesworth. We will also play an interactive run-on sentence game and make a run-on sentence craft.

Class experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
Students will improve their understanding of run-on sentences.  They will also be able to listen to a story and notice how the enormous run-on sentence is edited to make more sense. Finally, students will be able to read and edit sentences on the attached printable.

There is one attached printable the students will use. Students will also need glue or tape and scissors. Crayons and markers are optional.
