US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to a book called "SuperHero ABC" by Bob McLeod. The author made a superhero for each letter of the alphabet and he uses alliteration throughout the book. After the book, we will play an interactive Alliteration game, where the students get to control the screen using their computer mouse or touch pad. Then we will make a superhero craft. We will use the first letter or letters of our names to make a sentence of alliteration for our superhero. This class is great for children who are just learning about alliteration, or to provide extra practice for learners who already know about alliteration. Let's learn lots of alliteration!
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of alliteration. They will listen to a story and share examples of alliteration for the different superheroes. They will play an interactive game on alliteration and create a craft to practice alliteration.
