Class Experience
In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to a story about a boy named Cindy who is going to show off her amazing machine at the Science Fair - The Totally Terrific Turbo-Charged Mega Deluxe Capitalization Machine! Will the machine work? We'll read the story to find out! After the story, the students will take turns playing an interactive capitalization game, where the students get to control the screen using their computer mouse or touch pad to find capital wrongs and rights. Then we...
Students will improve their understanding of capitalization. They will also be able to listen to a story and be able to ask and answer questions from the story. Finally, students will be able to write a variety of words showing correct capitalization.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need the attached printable of the Capital Letters paper. We will also be using a pencil or pen, crayons or markers, and scissors.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is suggested when we use scissors for the craft.
