I have been teaching English and writing to students from middle to graduate school for over 20 years. I've helped students write essays, research papers, SAT essays, college application essays, and even edited PhD dissertations. One of my greatest joys is to break down the (seemingly) daunting task of grammar usage and writing into small, manageable, and easy-to-understand steps. Everyone can write, and it's my job to show them how!
A short homework assignment will be provided after each lesson. Homework is due before the next lesson.
Homework is only accepted digitally in MS Word, Mac Pages, or Google Docs. PDFs are not accepted.
**Only homework handed in by the due date each week will be eligible for individualized teacher feedback.**
Each class, a handout will be provided for the student to print out and take notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Individualized teacher feedback is provided on all homework assignments. The teacher is also available via the classroom messaging feature to answer additional questions/provide further clarification.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
