(Note: The video is from the younger version. I will make one for this level soon.) Here is a link for a sample play of the game. This one is from the younger version. The older one has questions that include finding the adjectives, adverbs, verbs, and nouns. Enjoy checking it out. https://view.genial.ly/60587e0696c6cc0d8abdc021 Grammar has never been more fun. Add an interactive game, an exciting place, a fun classroom atmosphere and you got them hook, line, and sinker loving grammar.Click on this link to check out a sample of the game. Enjoy! https://view.genial.ly/60587e0696c6cc0d8abdc021 Grammar has never been more fun. Add an interactive game, an exciting place, a fun classroom atmosphere and you got them hook, line, and sinker loving grammar. In the first 25 minutes of class, students will watch a short video showing Yellowstone and then receive a crash course on adjectives using Yellowstone as the theme. This 25-minute presentation is filled with an exciting presentation using Keynote. I include a song about adjectives with video clips of Yellowstone. We take a drive and take pictures with a polaroid camera as we prepare for the race. Students will identify the adjectives that are in the sentences describing the pictures. Then we begin our race. Students will probably not finish the race due to the time, however, this game will be accessible through Nearpod and students will be given a code so that they can enjoy playing the game by themselves after class. If you do not want to download the Nearpod app, I will send it via a link. Your learner can have fun guiding your family through Yellowstone as they show you how to pick the correct parts of speech in order to move on. Will it be an adjective, adverb, verb, or noun? Answer it correctly and move on. Guides are at each stop along the way to explain a little about the wonders of nature. I will give any guidance necessary to help them understand what the part of speech does in a sentence. Throughout the class, students will be gently reminded if needed. I will guide them through the map of Yellowstone and each activity. We will do it all together and not use Nearpod during class because of the various videos along the way. Students will want to play with it after class in order to finish collecting all the badges. This is a great class for anyone who has been to Yellowstone, is planning to go to Yellowstone, or would love to go to Yellowstone. It is perfect for learning or reviewing adjectives. Check out the video for a peek into the Race through Yellowstone. This class is perfect for an introduction or as a review with these parts of speech.
Learning Goals
Students will learn plenty about the wonders of nature in Yellowstone and grammar as we go. The main focus of grammar will be on nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.

Teaching is my passion and I am energized by it. Teaching your child will be the energy highlight of my day. I believe children learn best while being fully engaged which happens when fun is involved. When I love what I am teaching, they will love what they are learning. If I am not learning, I am not having fun. I look forward to having your child in my classroom.
