Students will learn much needed Grammar skills through fun activities. We will focus on Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Conjunctions, Interjections, and Prepositions. Once enrolled students will receive the handouts. If they have some background knowledge on this topic, great! If they don't, it's okay, they will learn it today. All activities will be completed in class, so there is nothing that needs to be done at home. This is a really interactive, enjoyable class. I promise it will be the most fun you can have learning Grammar :) We will review all the parts of speech together, and I will provide the notes. Then they'll love playing Grammargories! Inspired by the game Scattergories, students try to beat the clock as they complete parts of speech-related lists with themed answers that must begin with the same letter. Grammargories covers all eight parts of speech (noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, conjunction, interjection, and preposition).
