Do you want to help your learner understand the rules of grammar to improve their reading and writing? I am here to help! At the beginning of each class, learners will be introduced to the grammar rule or concept that we are studying. Learners can brainstorm words that fit that category. They will have the opportunity to discuss the rule with me and other learners. Then, we will have some guided practice. Learners will investigate and master the structure of English grammar. Learners will improve their writing skills through practice. Learners will practice the mechanics of grammatically correct writing. Learners will gain confidence in their speaking and writing by sharing their thinking with others.

Optional Homework: Explain the grammar rules to a stuffed animal, pet, friend, or family member. Play the Blooket or Toothy review game to strengthen their mastery of the grammar concept.Assessments Offered

Learners need... -A notebook (composition, spiral, blank, or lined) -Writing materials, such as a pencil, colored pencils, crayons, markers, and highlighters -Scissors and glue or tape. I will provide handout before each class which will include 1 entry for their interactive notebook and some additional practice.
Learners will be using scissors when creating entries in their interactive notebook. Learner may need supervision when cutting.
