Grammar Gazette - 'Cuz Ya Gotta Keep Current (3rd-5th)

Grammar is constant, and yet, with all the other things we do, good grammar usage is on a constant slide. In this ongoing class, we will pick a topic every week to learn, refresh, or remember.

Class Experience

Practice makes perfect. As we practice different grammar skills, your student will become more confident in writing and in editing their own communication.
There will be activity sheets with keys available some weeks. These will not be collected or graded, but will be available to help sharpen each skill.
I will supply all materials. Please check the classroom before class to download and print materials. Not all weeks will require printing, however, students should have paper and pen/pencil for every class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There will be several weeks where we use Kahoot, an online quiz game. This works better if the student has a second device.
