In this 8 week class, students will use their mission manual to learn about literature through the story of the English children who live in Grammar Galaxy.
Class experience
I will introduce three vocabulary words that will be in the chapter. Then students will listen to the next chapter in the story of the English children who live in Grammar Galaxy. We will then discuss the vocabulary introduced in the chapter and students will create sentences using the new words. I will read the letter from the English children telling the class their mission. I have taught Grammar Galaxy to my own children for three years as well as on Outschool for two years. I am a former elementary school teacher.
Students will need to purchase a mission manual in either digital ($25) or print ($30) format at https://funtolearnbooks.com/product/grammar-galaxy-yellow-star-mission-manual/ . This manual is used for all four classes in Yellow Star and the digital version can be used by one family. I am not affiliated with this website. Students will also need a highlighter and a pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
