The purpose of this class is to explain the difference between antonyms and synonyms. I will explain that antonyms are opposite words and synonyms are similar words. It is important that students understand and remember the basic definitions of these grammar terms. Then I will introduce many examples of antonyms such as good/bad, hot/cold, tall/short and encourage students to think of more on their own. We will then practice using these in sentences.
