Grammar Fun: Adverbs

In this class, students will review the concept of nouns, verbs and adjectives and then will be introduced to the word "adverb." The teacher and students will list examples of some adverbs. Then the class will look at some verbs and put verbs with certain adverbs and notice how adverbs modify verbs.  By the end of class, students will be comfortable finding the adverb in a sentence.  Students must be able to read and write to benefit from this class.  If your child is unfamiliar with the terms "nouns" and "verbs", I highly recommend that they take my Grammar Fun: Nouns and Verbs class (or a similar class from another teacher) before taking this class.
