Description
Class Experience
Using the gaming theme of Fortnite, I will teach how to make sure that the learner can identify both the subject and verb of a sentence. First, I will cover what a subject, or noun of a sentence is. Then I will cover verbs. At that point, we will discuss singular, and plural nouns. I will teach the concept using a Google slide presentation. I will then have the students work together to test their understanding while working together with Fortnite mad lib style sentences. After...
Students will either learn, or support their knowledge of subjects, and verbs in a properly formed sentence.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
