What will be taught: Students will further their understanding in combining sentences. Where two sentences together if they have the same predicate. Students learn the word "and" to join the sentences. Students will correct and use "and" to join each pair of sentences. Students will have a writing challenge activity and write a paragraph and use the word "and" to join sentences. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
