Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 3
Calling all grammar detectives! The goal of this class is to keep your learner's grammar skills sharp over the summer, or to enhance them prior to next school year.

Each class will consist of the perfect mix of academics, socialization, and fun! I will begin each class with a teacher-made message to the learners. Each message will include one fun fact (such as there is only one letter that doesn't appear in any US state name - do you know what it is?) and have a summer theme. This message will also include multiple grammar mistakes for the learners to take turns identifying and fixing! These grammar mistakes will be focused on 2nd and 3rd grade grammar standards (CCSS). I will extend, as needed, on any of these grammar topics based on the needs of each class!

To end each class, each learner will have the opportunity to participate (if they choose to) in share time. They can bring an object to show the class, a story to share, or even a hobby for us to learn more about them! This will allow your learner to connect with their peers and myself creating a classroom full of friendships and socialization. Academics, socialization, and fun!
