This class educates students on how to write effective sentences and paragraphs.
Class experience
Students will learn the essential concepts of writing effective sentences and paragraphs in a fun and engaging environment. They will interact with the teacher via video and chat in addition to course materials being attached to the platform for reference. The class is structured to meet once a week and will go over the specific mechanics of writing. There will be in-class activities to practice the concepts discussed during class. Students will improve their understanding of how to craft different sentences and paragraphs to become much more skilled writers. Students will learn the components of different sentences and paragraphs such as simple sentences, compound sentences, compound-complex sentences, complex sentences, introduction paragraphs, body paragraphs, and conclusion paragraphs.
