Class Format: π΅ Mini Grammar Lecture (Content to be utilized in that lesson's exercises) π΅ Introduce Informational Topic (Place/Person/Etc.) π΅ Grammar Worksheet (4 sentences with grammar/spelling errors. Student's complete this independently) π΅ Teacher Review/Explanation of the Worksheet --------------- πΊ Topics For This Island Adventure Include: π Bermuda π Ocracoke Island π Iceland π Amelia Island --------------- π΅ Download/print each worksheet prior to each lesson to increase effective delivery of content. Additional Class Details: * Students are welcome to submit their work to the Classroom page for additional feedback, with a response within about 24 hours. * Students can complete this course with a daily lesson, or spread out the lessons for weekly practice, depending on their need for practice. The class concentrates on usage, sentence mechanics, spelling and a general review of grammatical problem areas. Each lesson focuses on frequent errors, gives examples and suggests strategies. It will focus on reviewing fundamentals then move to active practice and discussion. The class is ideal for all types of students, especially those who want to improve their writing and anyone wishing to strengthen their grammar skills.

People, Places & Proper Nouns
Starting off our island adventure, we learn all about Bermuda and discover the importance of proper nouns, discover "demonyms," and practice our punctuation. 21 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
Possession & Apostrophes: Who Owns It?
We'll explore the history of Ocracoke Island while discovering the importance of apostrophes and showing ownership. 24 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Commas In Lists: Where Do They Go?
Our journey to Iceland will have us learning all about the ways to punctuate a long, lovely, lengthy list. 25 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Capitalizing Titles: Kings, Queens & Royalty
We wash ashore on Amelia Island and discover the ways to navigate (and capitalize) important roles and titles. 27 mins of video lessons
