 Week 1
Lesson 1
Advanced Punctuation
Detailed study of advanced punctuation marks (ex; dashes, commas, parentheses.)
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Advanced Clauses and Phrases
Study of subordinate clauses (adjective, adverb, noun clauses) and phrases (gerund, participial, infinitive.)
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Fun day! Let’s write a story about our ideal summer.
Learners will put to practice what they have learned so far.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Subject-verb agreement and pronoun-antecedent agreement followed with games.
Learners will be able to correctly identify and apply subject-verb agreement rules as well as pronoun-antecedent agreement rules in their writing.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Double negatives and run-on sentences and fragments.
Learners will be able to identify and correct double negatives, run-on sentences, and fragments in written passages.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Using transitions appropriately and active and passive voice.
Learners will be able to use transitions appropriately to improve the flow and coherence of their writing and differentiate between active and passive voice in order to effectively convey their ideas.

Lesson 7
Conditional sentences and subjunctive mood
Learners will be able to identify and accurately use conditional sentences and subjunctive mood.

Assessment
Course mastery will be assessed via games and writing prompts.

I am proud to be the Executive Assistant as well as the Assistant Curriculum Coordinator for Christine Santos LLC. Alongside my work on the business side, I am also the Lead Educator for ELA, Math and Science on the Elementary and Middle School level.

I have a deep passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. My major is in inclusive childhood education grades 1-6. Additionally, I hold a minor in English Language and Arts, as well as an additional certification in grades 7-12 English. I am currently pursing my master's in literacy.

My journey in the field of education extends beyond my academic pursuits. I am fortunate to work at a preschool that provides vital support to children with disabilities. Witnessing their growth each day is truly awe-inspiring, and I have developed a profound love for working with these incredible kids. 

I also serve as a substitute teacher in high schools, while simultaneously conducting observations at nearby elementary and middle schools. The opportunity to interact with students of varying ages and backgrounds is both enjoyable and fulfilling.

I have accumulated a wealth of experience with students, and I strongly believe that I am destined to be an educator. What initially ignited my interest in teaching was my involvement with the first tee program of western New York. This remarkable initiative centered around teaching young golf athletes valuable life skills. In addition to showing them the correct golfing techniques, I also instilled important values such as perseverance, respect, honesty, and confidence. Witnessing their enthusiasm for these life skills as well as their intellectual growth was immensely rewarding.
