Class Experience
This class is perfect for learners ready to take multiplication to the next level no matter where you are, homeschool, public school, or private school. In this 5-week course (with 2 sessions per week), students will learn how to divide multiple-digit numbers. Students will engage weekly in interactive learning using tools such as Kahoot! and be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the course to help parents determine learning outcomes. I am a certified mathematics educator, and I desire to create a love for mathematics, one equation at a time. I have over 19 years of teaching, bringing math and fun together. If your child needs a patient, understanding, and fun-loving teacher, you will love this class.
At the end of each session, students will be given a worksheet provided by the teacher to complete and assigned videos to watch if necessary. Homework should not take longer than 30 minutes a day.
Students will have worksheets to print, so access to a printer will be helpful (or students can copy in their notebook). A Composition Notebook Pencil
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the course to help parents determine learning outcomes. These evaluations are done via Google Forms and, if grades are desired, uploaded to Google Classroom.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
