Taught Grade 1 (UK equivalent) during my 10 years teaching in Primary School. 

In class, we will begin a writing activity and learners will be encouraged to complete this activity for homework. Similarly, in Science we will set up investigations and experiments for learners to record their results over a set period of time. Homework is optional and learners have the option to submit their learning to me for more formal feedback. 

Learners are encouraged to send me their learning and I will provide feedback via Outschool inbox. This is not compulsory but it is an option should families wish for more formal feedback on their learners progress. Report cards will be sent out to learners who have been present for over half of the sessions each semester too. 

3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
