Class Experience
This ongoing online course will cover the grade 8 math curriculum and materials will be cycled every 12 weeks. Whether you are a student looking to strengthen your math fundamentals or a student looking accelerate and get ahead with grade 8 math, this course will improve math skills, build confidence and ensure students are well prepared for high school. The classes will be structured as follows: 1. 10 mins - Review from last class including common challenges, struggles with homework 2....
This class is taught in English.
Homework will be assigned each week to allow students further practice and to solidify their understanding. Completing the homework will provide the teacher feedback on how well students learned the new math skills and their level of competency in answer questions and solving problems on their own. Homework questions will include easy, medium and challenging questions to help with this assessment.
Grading of homework assignments will help provide an assessment of the student's mastery of the topic.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
