Description
Class Experience
Step-by-step lesson plan: - Introduce the concept of mathematical modeling and explain how it can be used to represent, analyze, and make predictions about real-life situations. - Review the equation for a line (y = mx+b) and explain how it can be used in mathematical modeling. - Provide students with examples of real-world situations that can be modeled using the equation for a line, such as the relationship between distance and time in motion or the relationship between weight and height...
By the end of this lesson, students should have a better understanding of how to use the equation for a line to represent, analyze, and make predictions about real-life situations. They should also be able to apply the process of mathematical modeling to provide insight into a variety of contexts.
We will be using a math handout in class to assess your learner's progress and understanding of the material. The handout will be filled out digitally during class time and will be submitted to me at the end of the class. I will be grading the handout in order to evaluate your child's understanding of the material. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to discuss your child's progress and provide any additional information or support that may be needed.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
