Class Experience
This live, online, instructor-led math class will help your learner thrive in mathematics this year. This course includes all curriculum (aligned to all provincial curriculum standards) so no need to purchase additional materials. Learners will attend twice weekly instruction and will be given homework assignments to completely throughout the week. Coursework will include assignments, projects, and optional testing to assist documenting learner understanding. Families wishing to opt out of...
The main goals of mathematics education are to prepare students to use mathematics confidently to solve problems, communicate and reason mathematically, commit themselves to lifelong learning.
Course will include marked assignments, projects, and testing to assist documenting learner understanding. Families wishing to opt out of testing are free to do so.
Learners will require either a printer to print and complete weekly homework or the technology to complete electronically.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
A summary of learner participation, skills covered, as well as homework and test scores will be provided at the end of the course. This report is intended to fulfil reporting requirements of Canadian DL and Online school requirements. If you do not wish to receive this report just let us know.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
