Assessment in this online Grade 5 Math class is designed to ensure that students understand and can apply the mathematical concepts covered in the syllabus. Throughout the month, various forms of assessment will be utilized to gauge students' progress and mastery of the material. These assessments will include: Quizzes: Short quizzes at the end of each week will cover the material taught in that week's lessons. These quizzes will test students on place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, and fractions. Interactive Games and Activities: These will serve as formative assessments to provide immediate feedback to students and the teacher. Games and activities will reinforce concepts in an engaging manner and help identify areas where students may need additional support. Homework Assignments: Regular homework will be assigned to reinforce the concepts taught in class. Homework will include practice problems and exercises to ensure students can independently apply what they have learned. Participation and Engagement: Active participation in live online classes and discussions will be encouraged and tracked.
