Class Experience
This second grade curriculum focuses on counting and comparing quantities, connecting counting to the operations of addition and subtraction, and developing an understanding of and strategies for solving addition and subtraction problems via story problems and games. We will be adding and subtracting into the hundreds, learning about 2 and 3-D shapes (exploring fractions), counting money, graphing data, dissecting numbers by place value, measuring in inches, and laying the foundation for...
I am certified in childhood and elementary education.
There will be homework 2x per week.
Pencil, paper, print outs Rulers Unifix cubes or base 10 blocks are useful but not necessary
Participation; intermittent quizzes.
